Foils
Is used to make sheet of steel plate, generally made of stainless steel.
Pad / Land
Metalized surface for surface mount components on PCB.Land generally refers only to SMT component pads, Pad includes SMT and PTH component pads.
Frame
The device for fixing the steel plate must be flat and coplanar.
Mark points (Fiducials)
The reference mark on the steel plate is used to calibrate the positioning of the steel plate and the PCB. Usually more than three Mark points are required.
Half etch
Cut out as hole.
Squeegee
Can be divided into rubber or metal materials, scraper pressure / speed / stroke / Step Down are important parameters for printing.
Stencil Thickness
Depends on the thickness of the sheet, which is commonly used for steel plates with three thicknesses of 4mil / 5mil / 6mil.
Steel plate production follows the following guidelines:
It is recommended that the min boundary area length from the frame edge to the sheet edge is 20MM;
At least 50MM from the inside of the glued border to the edge of the sheet opening for solder paste storage and scraper stroke
